1. How does the Home Automation Module (HAM) work?
|
|
The HAM interfaces with your home automation system through the internet. When a voice command or other digital signal is received, the HAM simulates a demand for hot water which activates the circulation pump.

| 2. Do I need a plumber to install the HAM?
|
|
No. Once the KASA Smart Plug is tied into your home network, the installation involves wiring the HAM into the Flow Monitor and the circulation pump and changing one setting in the KASA app.

| 3. Will this work with a dedicated hot water return line?
|
|
Absolutely.
|
| 4. How long does it take to install the HAM?
|
|
If you have already setup your KASA Smart Plug, installing the HAM will take 5 to 10 minutes and only involves minor low voltage wiring.

| 5. Will the HAM work with any pump?
|
|
We obviously haven't tested every model of pump made but it works with all of the common home circulation pumps. If you have any questions about compatibility with your pump please give us a call at (619) 665-2077.
